As we mentioned a while back, the French Hotel Barge Nymphea is no longer accepting bookings for Loire barge cruises.

Unfortunately, due to long-term damage to navigation infrastructure on the River Cher caused by flooding, along with other operational challenges, Nymphea will no longer be able to operate her much-loved itinerary in the Loire Valley. As a result, their 2025 cruising season has been officially cancelled.
Good news
Nymphea is actively exploring the possibility of a cruising itinerary in Brittany for 2026. We are excited as this is a new barge cruise region for us and we will share updates as they become available.
